As of right now it seems like we will be seeing another console war with game systems that were popular back in the 90’s. Last year we saw the release of the SNES Classic and this year it looks like we will be seeing other retro based consoles such as the Mega Drive Mini, Neo Geo Mini along with the Atari VCS. The idea of seeing another console war between game systems that were popular back in the 90’s sounds pretty cool.

However, many people are questioning whether or not the Sega Mega Drive Mini or the Neo Geo Mini will have as much success as the SNES Classic did since its release. The SNES Classic has managed to sell at 5 million units worldwide since its release back in September 2017. If any of Mini consoles can reach the similar amount of sales of the SNES Mini following their releases than thing will definitely get interesting within the gaming world. V
