When it comes down to wrestling titles of the 90’s both Nitro and Warzone were both memorable games from that tie period. The cool thing about Warzone and Nitro was the fact that both games came out in 1998 which was arguably the best year during the Monday Night Wars Between WCW and the WWE. Both games were released for the PS1 and the N64 and looked impressive visually.

The pre match rants from Nitro wrestlers made the game more interesting as they tried to convince players to choose them. The rants in the War Zone game for the PS1 were arguably better since each character had multiple promos before players fought them in grudge matches while trying to complete Challenge mode. Also, the gameplay in War Zone was arguably better due to the submission system which added more depth to the in game mechanics. For the most part War Zone would definitely have the edge over WCW Nitro the video game.
