When we look at handheld game consoles that have been released over the past couple of decades there have been some such as the Game Boy Advance, Game Boy Color, Nintendo DS along with the Nintendo 3DS there were impressive. However, the Hyperkin SupaBoy S do not get mentioned as much as many other handheld game systems. When you think about it the SupaBoy S is pretty much the SNES version of the Nintendo Switch. The SupaBoy S is a very cool retro game system that can be found in many used game stores today.

However, one can not help but wonder how successful the Hyperkin SupaBoy S would have been back in the early to mid 90’s. If the Nintendo had made a hybrid console like the SuperBoy S back in the early 90’s would it have been more popular than the original Game Boy console? The SupaBoy S seems like a game system that would have received more mainstream attention back in the 90’s especially since the concept of creating a hybrid console was something that video games companies were not too big on back in the day.
