As a racing title for the Game Boy Advance Mario Kart Super Circuit was one of the most popular games of the early 00’s. Since its release back in back in July 2001 the game reportedly managed to sell over 5 million units worldwide. If Mario Kart Super Circuit was released as a direct sequel to the original Mario Kart title for the SNES that would have been very interesting.

Mario Kart Super Circuit had similar gameplay to the original Mario Kart game for the SNES and had a great soundtrack which sounded similar to ones you would hear in the Sonic Advance series. However, despite how popular 2.5 dimension racing games were on the SNES Mario Kart Super Circuit May not have sold as much in the SNES as it did on the Game Boy Advance.
