When it comes down to racing titles from the early 90’s both Top Gear along with Rock n Roll Racing were two popular games for the SNES. As good as both games were they both Top Gear and Rock n Roll Racing has been overshadowed by the likes of F-Zero and Super Mario Kart. The original Top Gear title looked like it could have worked in arcade center and was a very fun 2D racing game.

Rock n Roll Racing on the other hand was very special because the game was an isometric racer with an awesome soundtrack along with added violence which contributed to the overall replay value of the game. In terms of which game was more popular is highly debatable but some would probably give the slight edge to Rock n Roll Racing for its creativity.
