As many people know both TMNT: Turtles in Time along with X-Men Arcade were considered to be two of the most popular beat em up titles of the early 90’s. Not only were both games popular as beat em up titles but the X-Men along with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series was very big back in the early 90’s as well. We got to three Ninja Turtles movies in the early 90’s which came after the animated series that started back in 1987.

Also, we got the X-Men animated series which started in late 1992 and lasted all the way to 1997 which was a TV show which many kids loved as well. In terms of which series overall was more popularity the 90’s is debatable. However, as a video game there are many who would probably give TMNT: Turtles in Time the sight edge over X-Men Arcade in terms of success. While X-Men Arcade was never ported to any game systems during the 90’s people had the chance to play TMNT: Turtles in Time in the SNES game console. There is no doubt that Konami had developed some amazing games back in the early 90’s there are instances where is had to choose some game over other due to how cool they were at the time.
