There were so many cool 2D platform games that came out during the early 90’s for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System along with the Sega Genesis including the Super Mario Bros and the Sonic the Hedgehog series which are often talked about by many retro gamers. However, titles such as Ducktales 1 & 2 never seems to get as much credit as they deserve for the NES. In fact, some might argue that Ducktales 1 & 2 where more deserving of an SNES port back in the early 90’s.

It’s understandable that the first Ducktales game was released for NES since millions of people already had the console after its release in 1983. However, Ducktales 2 was released in 1994 and people where starting to move away from the NES and towards the SNES during that time period. While it would have been cool to see the original Ducktales game on the SNES it may not have sold as much as it would have on the NES during the time.
