There are many people who are aware of the relationship between Square Enix and Nintendo dating back to the early 90’s. Square had developed SNES Classics such as Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana, Final Fantasy III-V and others. Around the mid 90’s and onwards Square Enix did not make nearly as many big games for the N64 , Nintendo GameCube or even the Wii console.

It’s been recently reported that Square Enix has been highly supportive of the Nintendo Switch and wanted to develop more games for the hybrid console in the near future. As of right now we have titles such as Lost Spear and I am Setsuna which were both published by Square Enix on the Nintendo Switch. There is no doubt that Square Enix and Nintendo are on good terms again which makes people wonder which games will we see on the Switch console next.
