When the HD Final Fantasy X/X-2 was first released back in winter of 2013 for the PlayStation 3 many people who were long time fans of the series who were thrilled once it actually came out. There were major improvements throughout the the remastered version versus the original PS1 port of Final Fantasy X/X-2 in various area such as the graphics along with gameplay and soundtrack.

In terms of quality the remastered version of Final Fantasy X/X-2 was stunning and makes people wonder whether or not it should be ported for the Nintendo Switch. As great as Final Fantasy X/X2 is there are some who feel that the game would be better off remaining on the PS4. Besides one of the main Games that the gaming world is looking forward to is the remake of Final Fantasy VII which is supposed to be released sometime in 2018. If Square Enix had decided to port Final Fantasy X/X-2 for the Nintendo Switch in the near future it would most likely be overshadowed by the upcoming release of Final Fantasy VII: Remake along with Final Fantasy XV.
