When we look at retro games on the Nintendo GameCube titles that stand out from the early 00’s include Super Mario Sunshine and Luigi’s Mansion. Both Super Mario Sunshine and Luigi’s Mansion were both considered to be popular action-adventure titles of the early 00’s. But one of the most puzzling things about both games is the fact that Nintendo never made a direct sequel for either title despite how much success the both had.
When we look back in how many units both game had sold worldwide there is no question the Super Mario Sunshine has more success. Even though, Luigi’s Mansion Dark Moon is considered to be a sequel of the original game released on 2001 there are some who believe that there be another game in the set that is released for a home based console opposed to the Nintendo 3DS. In terms of which game deserved a sequel for a home based console more really depends on who you ask.
