When it comes down to racing games of the early 10’s Gran Turismo 6 was without a doubt one of the best titles of its genre during the time. In fact, Gran Turismo 6 was arguably the best racing game of 2013 when it was released exclusively for the PS3 during December of that year. Despite, being very successful on the PlayStation 3 Gran Turismo 6 was never ported for the PlayStation Vita or even the PlayStation 4 which was released a month before Gran Tursimo came out. There are some people who believe that Polyphony Digital could have definitely capitalized on porting Gran Turismo 6 for the PlayStation 4 a couple of years back.
However, having Gran Turismo 6 on the PlayStation Vita on the other hand is questionable considering the fact that the handheld game console was not as successful as many people thought it would be when it was first released. But when it comes down to Gran Turismo 6 it makes sense that the game was released exclusively for the PS3 considering the fact that the game was in development for that console in particular shortly after the release of Gran Turismo 4 which came out back in the Fall of 2010. Besides there have been stories about Gran Turismo 5 being a very difficult for Polyphony Digital in relation to development. After Gran Turismo 6 was developed and released for the PS3 it does not seem like to much of a surprise that the game was never ported for the PS4.
