Super Mario Sunshine

When it comes down to platform action adventure games from the early 00’s one of the most popular games that many people can easily think about is Super Mario Sunshine for the Nintendo GameCube.  Ever since its release Super Mario Sunshine has managed to sell over five million units worldwide on the Nintendo GameCube and was considered to be one of the best selling video games of that console.  Seeing how successful Super Mario Sunshine was back in the day there are many who feel that the game should have been ported for the Nintendo Wii shortly after the console was released back November 2006.

If Super Mario Sunshine was released for the Nintendo Wii it would have it could done well in terms of sales.  However, seeing that Nintendo had released Super Mario Galaxy for the Wii in November 2007 at the time it seemed like there was really no point on having a Super Mario Sunshine.  Besides the Nintendo Wii was known to be backwards compatible with older GameCube games just like many other games for the console.
