Ever since the NES and the SNES Classic have been released worldwide many people have been wondering whether or not Nintendo plans on releasing a N64 Classic.  It would be wonderful to have countless game built into an N64 such as Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, Zelda: Ocarina of Time along with other classics from the mid to late 90’s.  Even though, the Nintendo 64 sold less worldwide than the Super Nintendo Entertainment System back in the 90’s it’s still considered one of the best video game consoles of all time.  

When it comes down to game systems the closest thing that we got to an Nintendo 64 was probably the Nintendo DS which was released back in the Fall of 2004.  If Nintendo ever decides to release an N64 Classic it might not be a successful as the Nintendo DS in terms of sales but would definitely turn the heads of retro gamers who lived through the 32/64 bit era of gaming.
