When it comes down to Pokémon games they have generally been more popular on handheld game consoles such as Nintendo 3DS, Game Boy Advance, and Nintendo 3DS opposed to home based consoles for many years.  Even though we got games like Pokémon Stadium and Pokken Tournament for home based consoles it would be great to have more games similar to the RPG Pokémon titles which were featured on handheld devices for game systems like the Nintendo Switch.  

However, making RPG Pokémon titles for handheld devices was one of the main reasons why the series was so successful back in the 90’s, 00’s and even the early 10’s.  However, since the Nintendo Switch is considered to be hybrid console that is arguably better as a handheld device than a home console it would tough to determine if RPG Pokémon games would catch on with gamers of this day and age.
