The Killer Instinct series was such a huge success in arcade centers along with the Super NES worldwide following its release in the early 90’s.  The graphics and sprites looked so realistic that it looked One it could have worked on the PS1.  For whatever read Rare had decided not to make the decision to port Killer Instinct for the Sega Genesis or even Sega CD.

When it comes down to fighting games some might argue that the SNES was better than the Sega Genesis.  After we did get to see games on the SNES such as Street Fighter Alpha 2, Dragon Ball Z: Hyper Dimension and other that were great but were not found on the Sega Genesis.
