Some of the platform titles for the Sega Genesis back in the early 90’s often gets overlooked such as Kid Chameleon. The plot for Kid Chameleon was basic and the gameplay was basic enough for casual gamers to catch on to. One of the most surprising things about Kid Chameleon was the amount of levels that were included in the game.

The game had over 100 levels and there was no password system that would allow players to pick up where they left off after losing. However, the ability to warp to different level throughout the game somewhat compensates for length of the game itself. When it comes down to platform titles more games from the 16 bit era should have utilized the same formula that Kid Chameleon did with the inclusion of alternate & main levels. While 16 bit platform titles for the Sega Genesis were usually challenging Kid Chameleon included some elements that other games did which added the replay value of the game overall.
