The Nintendo is quite possibly the fastest selling game console of the 10’s decade.  However, there are some who wonder whether or not the Switch could have been more impactful in the gaming world back in the 00’s.  Considering the fact that Sony was on fire with the PS2 which is seen as the best selling game console of all time it would probably be safe to say that the Nintendo Switch might not have been quite as big in the 00’s opposed to now.  

Also, the original Xbox console was a huge success following its release in the early 00’s followed by the Xbox 360 in the mid 00’s.  In terms of sales the Nintendo Switch could have definitely surpassed the GameCube which did approximately 22 million units worldwide.  However, it would be hard to say whether or not the Nintendo Switch would have more success than the Wii or not.
