The original Top Gear game was probably one of the most exciting titles for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System when it was first released back in 1992.  When it comes down to 2.5D gaming the original Top Gear title was so much fun to play along with one of its sequels entitled Top Gear 3000 which was released by Kemco and Gremlin Interactive.  As much as many people would love to see a remake of the original Top Gear there is a less than likely chance that it will ever happen.  Gremlin Interactive had closed down in 2003 and its unlikely that Kemco going to do anything with the Top Gear series.

When it comes down to classic racing titles from the 90’s we got to witness game series such as Sega Outrun come back to life when Outrun 2 was released for the original Xbox Console.  It would be interesting to see the old Top Gear series make a return on the Nintendo Switch preferably as a downloadable software game that could be through the Virtual Console gaming network.  If the Top Gear series was ever revived one of the main questions would include whether or should be released as a 2D or 3D game?
