As of right not Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is one of the few big racing games that is currently featured on the Nintendo Switch.  When it comes down to sales Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has sold over 1.7 million units worldwide since its release back in April 2017.    Mario Kart 8 Deluxe one of the best selling games on the Nintendo Switch right now which is not much of a surprise since the original Mario Kart 8 game was a huge success following its release on the Wii-U back in May 2014.  Since its release the original Mario Kart 8 game had managed to sell over 8.3 million units worldwide within a few years which is nothing short of impressive.

While Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is doing well in terms of sales in the gaming market many people are still wondering whether or not we will ever get a Mario Kart 9.    The high quality visuals and the replay value of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is good enough to keep gamers waiting for the next 2-3 years while Nintendo develops another game for either the Nintendo Switch or the New Nintendo 3DS XL similar to how did with Mario Kart 7.  As far as whether or not Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is going to be the best selling game for the Nintendo Switch or not is something that is too early to tell as of right now.
