As we all know Microsoft had promised that the Xbox Scorpio will be the most powerful game console ever once its released either in late 2017 or early 2018.  As of right now we still have yet to see what the console offers in terms of visual presentation but one of the things that we have know for a while now is that Microsoft plans on ditching the Kinect feature for the Xbox Scorpio.   Some people question whether or not getting rid of the Kinect is a good thing for Xbox consoles or not considering the fact that there so many cool games that allowed people to use it.    There were games such as Dance Central 3 and Just Dance 3 that allowed many people to have so much fun while they were playing with their Xbox 360.  Besides when the Kinect was first released for the Xbox 360 the price had started around $150 then eventually jumped to $200 once the product was updated between 2010-2011.

Even though, the Kinect was an innovative new piece of technology for the Xbox 360 some customers who bought the item would often complain about sensor issues when trying to play a game.  Other than games in the Just Dance series for the Xbox 360 and the Xbox One there was a lack of highly marketed video games for the Kinect.  Despite, people having complains about the Kinect the item had managed to sell over 24 million units worldwide since its release in late 2010 which still a pretty good thing.  The Xbox Scorpio is rumored to be more expensive than the Xbox One which could be one of the many reasons why Microsoft is getting rid of the Kinect feature.  Also, virtual reality gameplay is slowly starting to become prevalent in the gaming industry which would eventually make technology such as the Kinect obsolete in the long run.
