As we all know the 3D racing genre of gaming was very popular during the 00’s with various titles that were released during that decade.  We had games such as Gran Turismo 3-5, Race Driver Grid, Midnight Club III & LA along with Forza Motorsport which were all fun titles to play.      Even through, Project Gotham racing was popular was well it does not get talked about quite as much as other titles within the racing genre.

When this game first appeared on the original Xbox console back in ’01-’02 many people were impressed by a variety of features that were included in this title.  Despite, how much fun the first two games were many would probably argue that the third title was the best in the series.  While Project Gotham 3 had sold less than one million units worldwide the sequel had managed to hit over two million since its release for the Xbox 360 in 2007.  During the 00’s more racing games were started to be featured on the Xbox 360 making it more difficult for Project Gotham to stand out within its genre.
