We all know that at some point Netherrealm Studios will release a sequel for Mortal Kombat X. The question is when Mortal Kombat XI is going to be released and for what gaming consoles. In terms of which gaming console Mortal Kombat XI is going to be released for is not tough to figure out considering the fact that the last game was released for the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One. But its been a long time since we have seen a Mortal Kombat game featured on a home based Nintendo console. In fact one of the last games in the series that we have seen on a Nintendo console was Mortal Kombat Armageddon for the Nintendo Wii. Since then we have not seen an MK title on the Wii-U and having it on this console would be something that many people would like to see.
Considering the fact that the Nintendo Switch is brand new having another Mortal Kombat game featured on that game console would be a great way to reach out to more people around the world who have already purchased the Nintendo Switch. Even though, a majority of Nintendo’s games are targets family friendly audiences having Mortal Kombat XI on the Switch Console would be convenient for people to play the game on multiple locations besides their home considering the fact that its a hybrid console. In theory having Mortal Kombat XI on the Nintendo Switch along with the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One sounds like an amazing idea. However, in practice some might argue that the Nintendo Switch version of Mortal Kombat XI will still pale in comparison to the likes of PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in terms of overall sales.
