Everyone knows that the scrapped Nintendo PlayStation console from the mid 90’s is one of the most valuable items within the world of gaming. Is was revealed rare Nintendo PlayStation prototype was worth at least $200,000 back in 2020 and the value of the console has seemingly increased within the past few years. In fact, the Nintendo PlayStation console along with the controller had went up for sale back in Spring 2020 for $360,000 which is insane. What is even more crazy is the fact that the Nintendo PlayStation controller was recently sold at Heritage for $35,000. It really makes you think how big the Nintendo PlayStation console could have been back in the day. The Nintendo PlayStation prototype along with the controller is worth way more than the PlayStation 5 will ever be. The Nintendo PlayStation had the potential to change the landscape of the gaming industry and there probably would not have been a PS1 or N64 during the mid 90’s.
