It seems like the Mario series is more popular now than its ever been especially in relation to 2023. Nintendo is making millions of dollars from the Super Mario franchise on a yearly bases from both main entities and spin-off titles within the series. Speaking of spin-off video games there were many people that fans of the Mario Paint SNES title from 1992. Mario Paint was one of the most unique and creative titles for the SNES because it was unlike anything that ever seen within realm of video games. Mario Paint was an art tool video game that allowed players to engage in content creation with the use of a drawing board. Players also had access to an in game coloring book and allowed them to compose their own original music. In fact, throughout the past several years Mario Paint ended up developing a cult following due to the popularity of its music composer feature.

Mario Paint has been used to create 16-bit remixes of various iconic pop and rock songs that are still listened to by thousands of people around the world today. After Mario Paint was first released for the SNES in ‘92 the game had reached over 2.3 million in worldwide sales. Even though, Mario Paint did not sell nearly as much as other games within the series from the 90’s; it ended be more innovative and exciting than many people thought it would be. If Nintendo decided to release a modern version Mario Paint for their ninth generation game system it would create a massive buzz within the gaming world.

  1. Ever since we’ve had Nintendo systems that have used a stylus, we should have had a Mario paint to go with it. Now it’s easier than ever to share your creations with friends and around the world. With Mario Maker being so successful, I could see there being an incredibly massive community for a new Mario paint!
