The Super Mario Maker series has managed to become one that Nintendo fans have grown highly fond of within the past seven years or so. The latest installment within the Super Mario Maker series was released back in 2019 for the Nintendo Switch and has achieved tremendous commercial success since then. Super Mario Maker 2 has managed to reach over eight million copies on the Nintendo Switch within the past four years which is nothing short of impressive. The amount of creativity that goes into the Mario Maker games along with allowing players to share their creations to an online community of gamers was something that attracted mainstream attention for Nintendo. While Nintendo has so many other games on Switch console that has sold more on the Switch than Mario Maker its still something many people are very interested in. Super Mario Maker 2 is too popular of a game to not have a sequel and many people are under the impression that Nintendo will create as many installments as possible as long as each installment is a best seller for whatever game system its released on. A Super Mario Maker 3 game is almost inevitable but its release might not come anytime soon since Nintendo has yet to produce highly anticipated. titles such as: Metroid Prime 4 and Mario Kart 9. Nintendo would be better off saving Super Mario Maker 3 for their next generation game system considering the fact they would need high profile titles to boost the sales of their new console.
