As many people know The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker has been around for 20 years now and Nintendo just celebrated the anniversary of the classic GameCube platformer on December 13th. The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker was the 2002 sequel to the critically acclaimed Majora’s Mask title which appeared on the Nintendo 64 back in 2000. While the Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker was one of the best selling GameCube titles during the early 00’s the game only managed to reach roughly over 4 million in sales. While the GameCube console was considered to be a commercial flop reaching roughly over 21 million in sales Zelda: Wind Waker stood out as one of the better entries within its series during the 00’s decade. Despite, not being on the same level as Zelda: Twilight Princess the Wind Waker game stood out more because of its unique cartoonish cel-shaded and design. Also, the soundtrack for The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker ism considered to be among the best within the series. The popularity of the Wind Waker game lead to its HD re-release back in 2013 for the Wii-U console and has been wide regarded as one of Nintendo’s top video games of the 2000’s decade.
