Dead Island 2- Will it be a huge attraction in 2023?

There are many video games who are looking forward to the upcoming release of various video games in ’23 including Street Fighter 6, Final Fantasy XVI, Resident Evil 4: Remake along with a brand new Silent Hill game. Another game that many people are also excited to. see next year is Dead Island 2 which is set to appear on multiple game systems including PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One and PC. Dead Island 2 will be developed by Dambuster Studios and published by Deep Silver and will be the sequel to the Dead Island: Riptide game from 2013. It has been mentioned the gameplay for Dead Island 2 is going to be different from its predecessors in relation to gameplay mechanics. Its also been mentioned that the setting for Dead Island 2 is set to take place in San Francisco, California after the entire city is placed in lockdown by the American military due to a zombie outbreak. The quarantine aspect of the plot is one that is obviously based on the COVID-19 pandemic which many people do not want to be reminded of and might be somewhat of a turnoff to people. However, Dead Island 2 was announced back in 2014 and the game has been in developmental hell for the past seven years or so and there is no reason for this upcoming entry should fall below anyone’s expectations in relation to commercial success. Deep Silver went through two video game developers before they hired Dambuster Studios to work on Dead Island 2. Apparently, things fell through with Sumo Digital and Yager Development because Deep Silver had initially wanted both of those companies to work on Dead Island 2. Deep Silver’s upcoming action-role playing game looks as bloody and gore as the Dead Island: Riptide game from 2013; but unfortunately its most likely going to be overshadowed by the likes of Resident Evil 4 along with the Silent Hill 2: Remake as it relates to 2023.
