Nintendo’s Direct Mini presentation that took place on June 28th was quite interesting in relation to the upcoming release of a variety of games with one of them being Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope. This upcoming game is going to the be official sequel to Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle title that appeared on the Nintendo Switch back in 2017. Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope is a turn based strategy action-adventure game that features several playable characters including Mario, Princess Peach, Bowser, Luigi, Rabbid Rosalina, Rabbid Peach, Rabbid Luigi, Rabbid Mario and Edge. The plot is pretty basic and involves players trying to prevent a foreign entity known as Cursa from collecting energy from creatures known as Sparks. In terms of battling foes engage in turn based combat which comes after wondering around on various levels within the game. The fact Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope is less linear than its predecessor in terms of level of design will be one of the most noticeable features of this game. In terms of looks and gameplay Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope is quite possibly one of the most interesting Mario role playing games since Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars title that came out for the SNES back in 1996. Seeing that Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope is mainly a Ubisoft game it only makes sense that it looks and feels different than what you would see in a typical Mario game. As it currently stands Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope is set to be released for the Nintendo Switch on October 22th later this year. Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope is most likely going to be a huge attraction especially considering the fact that many children around the world are still huge fans of the Mario series in general.
