There are so many things that people have been talking about within the gaming world lately especially following Nintendo’s most recent Direct Mini Presentation that occurred on the June 28th. While there were various games that were revealed for an upcoming release next year one of the more surprising announcements involved the Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection. For those who do not know the set games included within Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection came out back in the early to mid 00’s. There many casual gamers who are most likely unaware of the iconic Mega Man spin-off series because the franchise itself had declined in popularity during the 00’s in comparison to the 80’s and 90’s. The Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection will feature 10 classic RPG’s that were released between ’01-’05 for the Game Boy Advance.
The Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection will be divided into two volumes and feature the following games:
- Mega Man Battle Network (Vol. 1)
- Mega Man Battle Network 2 (Vol. 1)
- Mega Man Battle Network 3 Blue (Vol. 1)
- Mega Man Battle Network 3 White (Vol. 1)
- Mega Man Battle Network 4 Red Sun (Vol. 2)
- Mega Man Battle Network 4 Blue Moon (Vol. 2)
- Mega Man Battle Network 5 Team Protoman (Vol. 2)
- Mega Man Battle Network 5 Team Colonel (Vol. 2)
- Mega Man Battle Network 6 Cybeast Gregar (Vol. 2)
- Mega Man Battle Network 6 Cybeast Falzar (Vol. 2)
The Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection includes a pretty unique style of RPG gameplay that you rarely see most video games today. In fact the Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection is considered to be more of a data science RPG that had futuristic 00’s vibes in terms of visual design. The Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection will include some brand new features that will give players access to high resolution filter a music player that features roughly under 190 songs. Also, players will have access to roughly around 1,000 art pieces as it relates to the Mega Man Battle Network series. Shockingly, the Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection will not be featured on current generation game systems like the PlayStation 5. However, the Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection will be appearing on the PS4, Steam along with the Nintendo Switch. Despite, the Mega Man Battle Network series being overlooked throughout most of the 00’s some would argue that its one of the most creative things that Capcom has ever done with the franchise. Hopefully, we get an official release date for the Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection sometime in near future.
