Super Bomberman R2 announced for upcoming release in 2023!!!

Everyone has recently been talking about the recent Nintendo Mini Direct of June 2022 where we learned about to upcoming release of various of video games in the future. One of the few games that was mentioned at this years Nintendo Mini Direct was Super Bomberman R2 which is set to be released on multiple game systems next year. Super Bomberman R2 is the sequel to the Super Bomberman R game that came out back in ’17 which performed pretty well from a commercial standpoint following its release. Super Bomberman R2 managed to reach at least two million copies in sales across multiple gaming platforms including the Nintendo Switch, PS4 and the Xbox One. The reveal trailer for Super Bomberman R2 featured the introduction of a new storyline along with a variety of game modes that players will be able to sink their teeth into. Super Bomberman R2 will have a brand new game mode called “Castle” which involves players building their defenses from invading attackers trying to occupy their territory. Super Bomberman R2 will also introduce a brand new storyline which will feature activities including base building, exploration, boss battles along with implementing strategic and defensive tactics when dealing foes. Super Bomberman R2 will see the return of “Standard” mode which features classic gameplay which has been used within the series since the mid 80’s. This game will also feature a 3 vs 3 game mode known as “Grand Prix” along with online multiplayer gameplay called “Battle 64”. Its hard to believe that the Bomberman series has been around for almost 40 years and that it has evolved like beautifully and has become more relevant today than it was during the 80’s or 90’s. Super Bomberman R2 is set to appear on the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One Nintendo Switch and PC in ’23 on a date that has yet to be revealed.
