Elden Ring is probably the most popular third party video game right now considering how it has constantly been talked about on various gaming websites since its release back in late February 2022. It has been reported that since its release Elden Ring has managed to reach at least 12 million copies worldwide across multiple gaming platforms including the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows. There has been nothing but great things said about Elden Ring in relation to various aspects of the game including its gameplay, graphics, open world design along with its robust combat system. One of the few things that people like about the combat system aside from the blocking, parrying and dodging mechanics is the duel wielding feature which earned FromSoftware plus points among many RPG gamers with Elden Ring. Elden Ring is another masterpiece along with the list of critically acclaimed RPGs FromSoftware has released within the past decade or so including Dark Souls II, Bloodborne and Seikro: Shadows Die Twice. Elden Ring has over 30 different accessible weapons numerous maps and six different endings depending on how the game is completed. Even though, we are still early in the year FromSoftware’s Elden Ring is definitely a candidate for RPG of the year or even best video game of 2022.
