The Monster Hunter series is without a doubt the most popular thing that Capcom has going right now and its success has been well documented as of late. It has recently been reported that Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings Of Ruin which came out in June 2021 has reached at least 1.3 million in sales. This news comes out shortly after learning that Monster Hunter Rise has reached over 7.5 million sales on the Switch console following its release back in March 2021. As far as revenue is concerned the Monster Hunter series has managed to earn at least $66 million in revenue for Capcom since its inception back in 2004. Despite, the repetitiveness in relation to the gameplay of Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings Of Ruin is probably one of the most popular third part RPG’s for the Switch console right now. It will be interesting to see how much amongst Hunter Stories 2 will sell before the end of 2022.
