Marvel’s Midnight Suns set for release in March 2022!!!

Marvel’s Midnight Suns is one of the most anticipated upcoming releases for early 2022 especially considering how the trailer for the game looked following its reveal. Marvel’s Midnight Suns will be developed by Firaxis Games and published by 2K Games and is a single-player tactical RPG that will be released for multiple consoles. Marvel’s Midnight Suns has been confirmed to all on the PS5, PS4, Xbox One X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Microsoft Windows. The game will feature popular Marvel Characters including Wolverine, Captain America, Iron Man, Doctor Strange Magik, Ghost Rider and Nicu Minoru. The storyline for this game will be loosely based of the Midnight Sons comic series which began in the early 90’s. The gameplay for Marvel’s Midnight Suns will feature 3D cinematic cutscenes along with the decision-making normally included in RPG titles. Also, it should be noted that Jake Solomon who worked on the Xcom games during the 10’s decade will also be the director for Marvel’s Midnight Suns. The gameplay in Marvel’s Midnight Suns is supposed to resemble that of an Xcom game except that it will be played from a third person perspective.

The Marvel Midnight Suns will feature card-based gameplay that will allow players to assign special abilities to certain characters in real to attacking. One of the main goals in each battle aside from destroying enemies is for players to build up the heroism meter. Players will be controlling a character known as the Hunter who can either be male or female while fighting alongside some of most popular names in Marvel history. While tactical card based gameplay is something that is not commonly used in high profile RPGs these days its a feature that will add an extra level of excitement in this upcoming game. As it currently stands there is no official release date for Marvel’s Midnight Suns but we do know that it’s expected to appear in retail in Spring 2022.
