Should Gran Turismo 7 have VR Support?

One if the few upcoming games that the world is look forward to seeing on the PS5 is Gran Turismo 7 which is expected to appear on the console sometime between Q3 & Q4 of 2021. As far as Gran Turismo 7 is concerned many people have been waiting to see its release since 2017 when GT Sport came out for the PS4 back in 2017. Its common knowledge that Gran Turismo Sport had VR support and was one of the few features that added to its overall gameplay experience. Since its release reported that Gran Turismo VR reached at at least eight million in back in June 2019. However, despite the success of Gran Turismo Sport it was not among the strongest entities within the entire series. However, there are some who wonder whether not having PSVR compatibility would add to the appeal of Gran Turismo 7 for the PS5. Based on what we know Gran Turismo 7 will have a variety of features including the return of GT Simulation and other features from older installments within the series like GT4 & GT6. It should also be noted that GT Sport Mode has also been confirmed to appear in Gran Turismo 7 as well.

While having PSVR compatibility would definitely make Gran Turismo 7 somewhat more of an attraction virtual reality in general is not too popular as it relates to racing games. In fact, bringing back classic game modes from older installments within the GT series and focusing more on those would probably to more justice to Gran Turismo 7 in general. Also, the fact that we are getting Gran Turismo 7 on the PS5 probably good enough in terms of realism; since the PS5 controllers will provide players adaptive triggers and haptic feedback which will add to the overall quality of the game itself. While there had recently been issues with the PS5 controllers in relation to broken adaptive triggers; that is something that Sony is likely to fix by the time we get to Q4 2021.
