As far as upcoming games are concerned in relation to 2020 one of the few titles that people are talking about right now is the Fast & Furious Crossroads title which is scheduled to be released worldwide on August 7th. Fast & Furious: Crossroads was initially scheduled to be released back in May 2020 but was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Based on what we know this upcoming racing title will include a cinematic story mode that will cover the most essential storylines of the Fast & Furious series. It has also been said that Fast & Furious: Crossroads will also include an offline multiplayer mode and quite possibly one that is online as well. Fast & Furious: Crossroads will be one of the first major games within the series that the world has seen since FF: Showdown which was released for multiple game systems back in May 2013. Unlike Fast & Furious: Showdown which was published by Activision this upcoming game FF: Crossroads will have Bandi Namco Entertainment within that same role. It should also be noted Fast & Furious: Crossroads will also have a different developer known as Slightly Mad Studios opposed to Firebrand Games who worked on FF: Showdown for 2013.
Based on what we know Fast & Furious: Crossroads is expected to be released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft this upcoming August. There is currently no word on whether or not the upcoming racing game will eventually be ported for the Switch console. Its possible that if Fast & Furious Crossroads becomes very successful on the PS4 or the Xbox One it will eventually be ported for the Switch console later. But at the moment a Switch port of Fast & Furious: Crossroads seems unlikely. It will be interesting to see how much of an attraction Fast & Furious: Crossroads becomes following its upcoming release.
