One of the biggest rumors that has been flying around as of late pertaining to gaming involves the potential release of a new Crash Bandicoot game in 2020. The last main installment that we got to see in the Crash Bandicoot series was the N. Sane Trilogy which appeared on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows back in 2017. Since its release over two years ago the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy has mainly received a good reception from fans and critics alike; the visuals and refined gameplay in comparison to the original titles released between ’96-98 for the PS1. As far as rumors concerning a new Crash Bandicoot installment is concerned it has been recently reported that the game is currently in development under Vicarious Visions and Toys for Bob. It has been hinted that this upcoming installment will be entitled Crash Bandicoot Worlds” but we have no idea about on what the game’s concept or storyline would be.
In fact, we have no idea on whether or not Crash Bandicoot Worlds will be a completely new game opposed to being remastered versions of older games within the series. The most striking evidence of the possibility of a new Crash Bandicoot game came during the PS4- Time To Play video from PlayStation Europe where a bizarre floating head was spotted around the eleven second mark which was something many fans of the series was not familiar with. Despite, the video itself not confirming a future release of a new Crash Bandicoot game its one that has many people talking and hopefully its a sign that we will see another entry within the series next year.
