As far as big announcements are concerned in relation to the gaming world one of the few things that we have recently learned is that SNK plans on releasing a new King Of Fighters game sometime in the near future. For those who saw EVO 2019 the other day there was a teaser trailer indicating that King Of Fighters XV is currently in development. For those who do not know the King Of Fighters series started back in 1994 with various games appearing on numerous consoles over the years. The latest game that we got to see in the King Of Fighters series was KOF XIV which came out back in 2016. While King Of Fighters XIV was definitely an improvement from its predecessor KOF VIII it still did not reach the same level of popularity as the older games from the 90’s such as KOF ’98. However, many people who are long time fans of the King Of Fighters are still both satisfied and impressed that the series has lasted as long as it did.
At this point the King Of Fighters series has been around for approximately 25 years now and is well respected by fans long time fans of the fighting genre of gaming. There is no doubt that King Of Fighters XV will be a huge attraction following its upcoming release. However, as it currently stands we have no idea when King Of Fighters XV will be released while some are speculating that it will be released sometimes in later part of 2020. Most likely popular characters such as Terry Bogard, Mai Shiranui, Kyo Kusangi, Ryo Sakazaki and Geese Howard will make a return King Of Fighters XV. But there many who wonder if SNK will add any new or guest characters from other games to KOF XV. Hopefully, we will learn more details about King Of Fighters XV as the we progress throughout the rest of 2019.
