As many people know Assassins Creed III was an action-adventure game that was developed and published by Ubisoft and released back in 2012. Since its release over six years ago Assassins Creed III has been ported for multiple game systems such as the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and the Nintendo Wii-U. Also, since its release Assassins Creed III has been seen as one of the best action-adventure titles of the 10’s decade reaching over 12 million copies in worldwide sales within a few months of being available in retail. As it currently stands a remastered version of Assassin’s Creed III is expected to appear on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One this upcoming March which many people are excited about.
However, there has been no talk about a potential Switch version of Assassin’s Creed III appearing in March or at all in 2019. Its quite possible that Ubisoft already knows that Assassins Creed III has a better chance in standing out on the PS4 and the Xbox One even more so than the Switch especially since first party games that are made by Nintendo generally tends to overshadow any type of third party title that would appear on any of their consoles. While it would be nice to see Assassin’s Creed III on the Nintendo Switch it looks like it will not be happening anytime soon unless Ubisoft says otherwise.
