When it comes down to big racing games that was popular throughout 2018 titles such as Gran Turismo Sport, Mario Kart 8: Deluxe and Forza Horizon 4 are all titles that instantly come to mind. While the games just mentioned received a significant amount of mainstream attention throughout this past year there are racing titles such as F1 2018 which came out a few months ago has not been talked about as much despite being the tenth installment within its series. F1 2018 was initially released for the iOS back in August and since then has been ported for the PlayStation 4 along with the Xbox One. While a game such as F1 2018 looks like it has the potential to be an attraction in the Nintendo Switch its a third party game published by Codemasters and would most likely be overshadowed by first party games such as Super Mario Odessey, Splatoon 2, Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Mario Kart 8: Deluxe and others.
In theory seeing a Formulaic One Racing game on the Nintendo Switch seems like a cool idea. However, Codemasters has not announced any plans on bringing F1 2018 to the Switch console anytime in the near future. Unless, Codemasters says otherwise F1 2018 will remain playable for just about every other game system accept the Nintendo Switch.
