For those who have been waiting for sequel to Mortal Kombat X since 2015 you will be happy to know that Mortal Kombat 11 has finally be confirmed for an upcoming release in April 2019. NetherRealm’s upcoming Mortal Kombat game was announced at this year’s Game Awards and for those who have been long time fans the series for the past two decades you will be happy to know that there will be more blood and gore in this game than ever. Based on what we have seen in the trailer for Mortal Kombat 11 Raiden and Scorpion have been confirmed as playable characters in this upcoming fighting game. Also, the graphics for Mortal Kombat 11 is a step up from MK10 along with the fact that this game will feature Custom Character Variations which will play a substantial role in how players customize their characters.
In addition, the return of Shao Khan as a playable character has been confirmed for Mortal Kombat 11. However, for those who want to play as Shao Khan and have beta access to Mortal Kombat 11 in general they will be able to starting on December 7th before a full version of the game appears on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC on April 23th. We still have yet to learn about the storyline for Mortal Kombat 11 along with which other previous characters will be making a return in this upcoming fighting title and hopefully we will find out sooner than later.
