Red Dead Redemption 2 sells 17 million copies in less a month

As far as the most popular for this year is concerned along with the likes of Monster Hunter: World and Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 there is no question that Red Dead Redemption II is one of the most high profile titles we have seen in 2018. As far as sales are concerned Red Dead Redemption II the game has already managed to surpass its predecessor in sales in less than a month which is something that almost nobody expected. While some analysts had speculated that Red Dead Redemption II would definitely surpass its 2010 predecessor which reached 13 million sales it was not predicted that it would sell 17 million copies within a month. But then again Red Dead Redemption 2 was one of the most highly anticipated action-adventure video games of the 10’s prior to its release back in October 26th.

Seeing that it Red Dead Redemption 2 has not been available in retail for a full year just it yet alone can only imagine how many copies it will sell in before 2020. It would not be surprising if Red Dead Redemption 2 manages to reach 30 million copies worldwide in sales before the end of 2019. As far as popularity with the action-adventure genre of gaming is concerned there is no doubt that Red Dead Redemption 2 will definitely retain its current level of popularity throughout next year despite the upcoming games that are set to appear on the PS4 and Xbox One in 2019.
