When it comes down to popular action titles from last year two big names that many gamers think about is Horizon Zero Dawn for the PlayStation 4 along with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for the Nintendo Switch. Ever since, both games were released back in 2017 they have managed to become best sellers for their respective console. Since its release back in late February of last year Horizon Zero Dawn has managed to sell over 7.6 million units worldwide and has become the third best selling game on the PS4 behind Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Monster Hunter: World.

However, as far as sales are concerned there is no question that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has managed to sell more than Horizon Zero Dawn. Since its release back in March 2017. Zelda: Breath of the Wild has reportedly sold at least 8.4 million units worldwide which is something that does not come as much of a surprise too many people. While both games have attracted a ton of mainstream attention outside the gaming world back in 2017 some would be inclined to give Zelda: Breath of the Wild the edge over Horizon Zero Dawn in terms of popularity.
