The gaming world in generally was absolutely shocked when they discovered that the legendary beat em up Streets of Rage series was going to make a return. Streets of Rage 4 was announced back on August 27th and ever since seeing a reveal trailer for the actual game there were many people who had high expectations on what to expect. Considering the fact that we have not seen a Street of Rage game since 1994 there are long time fans of the series who are hoping that the fourth installment will capture the magic of the first three games of the series. However, as many people may already know Yuzo Koshiro has worked on the soundtrack for the first three games in the Streets of Rage series.

Yuzo Koshiro’s soundtracks back in the early 90’s are considered to be legendary within the gaming world. There are soundtracks from Streets of Rage such as “Go Straight”, “Dreamer”‘ “Under Logic”, “Slow Moon”, “Moon Beach, “Violent Breathing”, “Fighting in the Street”, “Shinobi Reverse” and more that were all classics which added to the replay of the older games within the series. At this point it’s kinda hard to imagine what a Street of Rage video game would be like without Yuzo Koshiro’s involvement in general.

As of right now Lizardcube and Dotemu has yet to provide us with details involving Streets of Rage 4. Also, shortly following the announcement of Street of Rage 4 Yuzo Koshiro had tweeted that he could not comment on the upcoming game at the time. It will be interesting to see how much more information about Streets of Rage 4 will be revealed between now and 2019.
