There are so many cool games that are expected to appear on the Nintendo Switch as we progress throughout the rest of 2018. One of the many titles that has everyone talking right now is a 2D action adventure role playing game entitled Hyper Light Drifter. For those who do not know Hyper Light Drifter was developed Heart Machine and published by Playism and was initially released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 along with the Xbox One back in 2016. Since its release Hyper Light Drifter has been praised for its visuals while paying tribute to old school video games from the 8 & 16 bit era of gaming as far as audio and graphics are concerned.

Also, Hyper Light Drifter has an interesting concept that involves the main protagonist trying to fight off a series of monsters with advanced weaponry. However, players soon learn that the main character is suffering from an unknown illness which was an idea inspired by the a medical condition that the lead developer for this game named Alex Preston had in relation to heart disease. For those who are interested in 2D retro themed adventure role playing games Hyper Light Drifter will be available for the Nintendo Switch on September 6th.
