When it comes down to big games from the late 80’s on the NES that stood out Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse is one of the few titles that comes to mind. For those who do not know Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse was originally released for the NES back in December 1989. Since its release Dracula’s Curse has been regarded by various gaming publications one of the best NES titles ever made outside the Super Mario and the Legend of Zelda series. Players had the decision to unlock multiple endings within the game which was all determined by the decisions they made throughout the game.

In fact the branching storylines that was included in Dracula’s Curse was one of the many features of the game that added to its overall replay value. Players would have to compete Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse multiple times in order to get a new ending as they progressed throughout sixteen different stages. This game was so popular back in the late 80’s and early 90’s to point where it was eventually ported to consoles such as the Wii-U, Wii along with the Nintendo 3DS and was playable through Virtual Console.
