There are so many exciting games that people are looking forward to seeing as we progress throughout the rest of 2018. One of the few upcoming titles for the Xbox One that has everyone talking right now is a zombie- survival horror game entitled DAYZ. As of right now there is plenty of emphasis on the Xbox One version of the game which is set to be released this month on August 29th. While a PlayStation 4 version of DAYZ is expected to appear in the future the release date for the PS4 port has yet to be revealed.

The story for DAYZ sees the main character waking up on a beach with literally nothing except the clothes on their back. As one progresses throughout the game they have to find a way to access vital resources such as food, water and medical care to keep themselves alive while fighting off zombies. Players have to be very careful with their character especially considering the fact that if they lose their life they will have to start from square one. Some would argue that making players start from the beginning is punishing but its one of the few aspects of the game that makes DAYZ a challenging survival horror game.
