As many people know the concept of cross-platform gameplay is something that has become popular as of late. While both Nintendo and Microsoft supports the idea of cross-platform gameplay on their consoles the Xbox One and the Nintendo Switch Sony has repeatedly expressed their disapproval of having it on the PlayStation 4. However, when it comes down to video game genres such as MMORPG’s the both Sony and Microsoft could benefit a great deal from cross-platform gameplay if PC users could play into the same games as Switch and Xbox One owners have.

Within the past decade MMORPG’s has mainly been for those who used only used Microsoft Windows for games such as World of WarCraft, Eve Online, Final Fantasy XIV, Guild Wars 2, etc. If we got the chance to see popular MMORPG’s series such as World of Warcraft have games such as the Battle if Azeroth on the Switch or Xbox One it would be very interesting. If anything having more MMORPG’s on more game consoles for cross platform gameplay could end up becoming the next big thing in the gaming world give it take.
