There has been a lot of talk within the gaming world lately about Elder Scrolls Legends appearing on consoles such as the Xbox One and the Nintendo sometime this year on a date yet to be announced. However, there is much speculation going on right now on whether or not the free-to-play digital card game will appear on the PlayStation 4 or not. As many people know Elder Scrolls Legends is a game that will allow cross platform gameplay and its something that Bethesda is very supportive of.

However, it has been revealed not too long ago with games such as Fortnite that Sony is against idea of cross-platform gameplay with other consoles such the Xbox One and the Nintendo Switch. While Sony and Microsoft has no problem collaborating with each other on certain video games involving cross platform gameplay Sony views both companies as fierce rivals and has no interest in doing business with them whatsoever. Even though, Elder Scrolls Legends was expected to be released for the PlayStation 4 it might not be as popular on that console as it would be on the Switch or the Xbox One without the cross platform gameplay.
