Ever since the world had the chance to witness the release of Dead Space 3 for the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 in 2013 the game has been viewed in a positive light by many critics. In fact, many would argue that Dead Space 3 was arguably the best entry in the entire series since it first began back in 2008. Despite, how Dead Space 3 was praised for features such as visuals and gameplay the game did not do too well in relation sales. Even though, the sales for Dead Space 3 was not too great there were rumors going around a few years ago that Visceral Games were interested in developing some type of sequel for the game.

However, seeing how Visceral Games has become defunct a few months ago in October 2017 there is a lot of uncertainty regarding the Dead Space series in general. It’s always possible that funding a potential sequel for Dead Space 3 can be started through Kickstarter if the demand for a Dead Space 4 is high enough. But as of right now it does not seem like we will be getting a sequel for Dead Space 3 will be appearing anytime soon.
