For those who have been fans of the Monster Hunter series since the early 00’s you will be happy to know that Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate will be coming to the Nintendo Switch on August 28th. Monster Hunter Generations was originally released for the Nintendo 3DS back in late 2015 and since then has been considered to be one of the best handheld Action RPG titles of the 10’s decade. While Monster Hunter: World has become very popular and gained a lot of mainstream attention on the PlayStation 4 for the past few months Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate has the potential to do the same exact thing in the Switch console.

In terms on whether or not Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate will sell as much on the Nintendo Switch as Monster Hunter: World did on the PS4 is questionable. However, that is unlikely to happen since Monster Hunter: World has managed to sell over 7.9 million units worldwide in less than three months following its release back in late January. As popular as Monster Hunter Generations its probably not going to touch Monster Hunter: World in terms of sales. However, Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate will most likely sell at least one million units worldwide before the end of 2018.
